What is Robotic Surgery
A robot is a machine which allows surgeons to perform minimal invasive surgery with great precision, flexibility and control. This machine is attached to the patient , through very tiny incisions, thus making it less painful, cosmetically better, lesser hospital stay, fewer infections.
Just to clarify, the surgery is done by the surgeon, and not the robot, and hence it is surgeon controlled. Therefore surgeon has to be trained very well in surgery , as well as in controlling the robot.
Surgeries we perform using the robot is a hysterectomy, myomectomy, retroperitoneal pelvic dissections for nerves, lymph nodes.
Who Can Get Robotic Surgery
Not everybody can get a robotic assisted surgery. Many factors are taken into account in patient selection , which is best left at the surgeon. Hence, we do thorough discussion about the same with the patient, to discuss which mode of surgery such as open, conventional laparoscopy or robotic assisted would be best suited.
Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery
Modern gynecological treatment often uses minimally invasive techniques that allow surgeons to perform procedures with smaller incisions, less pain, and faster recovery.
Laparoscopy
Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to diagnose and treat various gynaecological conditions through small incisions. It allows faster recovery, less pain, and minimal scarring compared to traditional open surgery.
Robotic
Robotic surgery uses advanced robotic technology to assist surgeons in performing highly precise and delicate procedures. It offers better accuracy, smaller incisions, and quicker recovery for many complex gynaecological conditions.
Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy is a procedure used to examine and treat problems inside the uterus using a thin, lighted camera inserted through the cervix. It helps diagnose and treat conditions like polyps, fibroids, and uterine abnormalities without major surgery.

What is Laparoscopic Surgery
Neuropelveology is an advanced medical discipline that focuses on identifying and treating chronic pelvic pain and organ dysfunction caused by disorders of the pelvic nerves—conditions often missed by conventional diagnostics.Neuropelveology is an advanced medical discipline that focuses on identifying and treating chronic pelvic pain and organ dysfunction caused by disorders of the pelvic nerves—conditions often missed by conventional diagnostics.
